Known for its warm ambiance, incredible seasonal menu, and fantastic service, it’s no surprise that this place has quickly become a favorite spot for those seeking a cozy yet elevated dining experience in London.

From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a homely charm that perfectly matches the relaxed yet sophisticated vibe of the restaurant. With a welcoming atmosphere and a team of friendly staff ready to make your dining experience unforgettable, The Farmers Mistress certainly offers more than just a meal; it’s a place to savor the moment.

The menu is a celebration of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty dish or something light, their offerings cater to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. One of the standout features of the restaurant is its dedication to seasonal produce, ensuring that every dish is packed with flavor and crafted with the best ingredients available at the time. From tender cuts of meat to vibrant, vegetable-filled plates, there’s a clear focus on quality and sustainability.

A real crowd-pleaser is their signature roast, which changes with the season but always maintains the same high standards of quality and taste. The rich, juicy meat, accompanied by perfectly roasted vegetables, is a comfort food lover’s dream. Vegetarians will not be left out either, with the kitchen offering an array of inventive and mouthwatering plant-based options, like their seasonal vegetable tart or the mixed bean stew. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients, allowing the produce to shine in every bite.

Another gem on the menu is the homemade dessert selection. The sticky toffee pudding is a favorite among regulars, as it’s beautifully balanced with the right amount of sweetness and a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. If you're a fan of fruity desserts, their berry crumble topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream is nothing short of perfection.

The drinks menu is equally impressive, with a carefully curated selection of wines, local ales, and house-made cocktails. If you're in the mood for something light, their elderflower gin and tonic is refreshing, with just the right amount of floral notes. For those who want to pair their meal with a full-bodied wine, you’ll find a solid list of reds and whites, perfect for any occasion.

  • Exceptionally good breakfast with superb service. The flavours are fantastic and you won't go hungry! Coffee is also excellent

  • One of the tastiest iced coffees in London. True taste of coffee with the right amount of milk and ice, not making it watery or weak but yet cooling and refreshing on a warm day that we visited this place for the first time. Food was also a pleasant surprise as my two boys were quite satisfied with the portion and I was truly impressed with my mushroom truffle sourdough toast. Suffice to say we would definitely be coming back here for a treat. New photos… we just love this place! Can you tell?

  • I love this place so much:) Dining here is a weekend treat for my family. We've tried many dishes and all of them have been amazing. I especially love the cornbread mash with avocado, and get a craving for it when I dont come for a few weeks. What is more amazing are the wonderful staff that make us feel cozy and comfortable. Thank you!

  • Brunch hidden gem in Battersea! Absolutely outstanding food, best full English I've ever had, all the other food and drinks too were so good! For that quality and presentation of food the prices are incredibly reasonable. Can't recommend it enough! 10/10

  • The best vegan options - they feel so healthy and delicious. I had the beetroot hummus on toast and it was the best toast I’ve ever had. My friends had the avocado toast and said it was also delicious. Everything feels reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

  • Second visit and still great food and service! Absolutely loved the eggs and soldiers. The sourdough toast had a lovely drizzle of honey. I asked for some hot sauce and it complimented it nicely. Savoury, sweet and spicy. Would definitely come again a third time and order this same dish.

  • The Farmers Mistress in Battersea is a warm all-day restaurant and cocktail bar that brings together indulgent comfort food, botanical cocktails, and a lively, down-to-earth vibe. Known for its cheeky branding, the space blends rustic charm with modern energy. Dropped by for dinner and loved it. The SHE SAID, SPRITZ SAID cocktail was fizzy, dangerously chatty, and absolutely excellent—one of the standouts of the night. Food was equally impressive: • Duck Fat Chips with Gin Mayo were perfectly crisp, and the dip was wonderfully rich • Pulled Pork Toastie with Pickles and Four Cheese Sauce delivered comfort food bliss • Short Rib Croquettes topped with Parmesan & Truffle hit all the right notes Service was warm and attentive throughout. A full 5 out of 5 — bold flavours, fun atmosphere, and great energy.
